Complex Event Processing: EPCGlobal has set up the Software Action Group in
order to arrive at the standard interfaces that will be used for the
distribution of RFID-generated information among the various
applications in a company. Complex Event Processing (CEP) is a
technique that allows for the transformation of raw EPC data into
actionable information.
