“Decision-makers at Vancouver Costal Health (VCH) are hoping a pilot project currently under way at Richmond Health Services in Richmond, BC., will help determine the best way to provide “last mile connectivity” to primary care physicians and specialists throughout its region and perhaps even the province.”
The article describes the pilot in some detail:

In this article in Physicians Practice, subtitled “Steps to a Successful EMR Implementation,” Elaine Zablocki
writes that
“… selecting and installing an EMR is just the
first step in a major process that will transform the workflow within
your office. You can’t just flip a switch and expect the transition to
take care of itself. Taking the time to visualize all the essential
implementation steps will lead to a smooth, successful conversion.”
She goes on to lay out steps you can and should take in your implementation process.
