A Squidoo Metalens: Cybernetics Start Here Guide

I’ve
been generating lenses at quite a clip… the idea of a Squidoo lens is
to provide a view to chunks of knowledge about a particular topic…. and
since the field of cybernetics is such a broad, indeed
multidisciplinary field, I’ve authored quite a numer of lenses …. as
relfected in a number of posts in this forum.
To make it easier to tack through these lenses, I’ve created a
Squidoo Meta-lens” or, if you will, a “Start Here Guide” to
Cybernetics and System Sciences resources available in the Squidoo
Milleau.

Systems Thinking
The term systems thinking is often linked to the work of Peter
Senge…the range of fields that are sometimes linked to the term
include systems theory and cybernetics

Cybernetics Wikispace

In addition to my blogs, Suidoo lenses, and ning playgrounds relating to Cybernetics and the sytems sciences, I’ve taken a crack at starting a Wikispace dedicated to the subjects.

Each of these vehicles takes a different approach and lends itself to a different degree of concentration and information outline…. I see that each will be of varying degrees of interest to people looking up the subject… I have some ideas on this that may be evident from the very ROUGH first steps that you will find in each of these… but as they are each fleshed out over the next few weeks, I hope that the distinctive ‘personaility” of each will lend its self to a different education and development purpsose. Of course I welcome any and all comments.

Two for the Show

I’ve been busy setting up more entries on Squidoo. Have a look at these “lenses”…
Systems Thinking The term systems thinking is often linked to the work of Peter Senge.

General Systems Theory The notion of a system may be seen simply as simply a more self-conscious and generic term for the dynamic interrelatedness of components.
